Terms of Service

Last updated May 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HistoryKill and the trustsoft.com website. By subscribing, downloading, or using the software, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service — and email billing@trustsoft.com for a refund within 60 days.

1. The product

HistoryKill is desktop privacy software for Microsoft Windows that removes browser history, caches, cookies, and other digital traces. We license you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software on computers you own or control while your subscription is active.

2. Subscription & auto-renewal

HistoryKill is sold as an annual subscription. Standard pricing is $47.95/year; returning customers (emails on file from previous purchases) qualify for $37.95/year loyalty pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months at the same rate until cancelled. You may cancel at any time — your installed unlock code keeps working forever; only future updates require an active subscription.

3. Cancellation

Cancel through your Stripe customer portal (linked in any payment receipt email) or by emailing billing@trustsoft.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don’t pro-rate partial periods, but you keep using the software through the period you paid for.

4. Refunds

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. Email billing@trustsoft.com within 60 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full — no forms, no questions. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the software. Don’t share your unlock code publicly. Don’t use HistoryKillto interfere with someone else’s computer or data. We may suspend access if these things happen.

6. No warranty

The software is provided “as is.” Privacy software is best-effort: we make every reasonable engineering effort to remove traces, but no software can promise 100% irrecoverable deletion against every conceivable adversary or every Windows configuration. 60-day refund exists precisely so you can verify it works for your environment risk-free.

7. Limit of liability

TrustSoft’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the software is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 30 days in advance.

9. Contact
