Privacy Policy

We sell privacy software. Treating your privacy carelessly would be — at minimum — embarrassing. So this policy is short, plain, and honest. Here’s exactly what we do and don’t do with your data.

The software collects nothing

HistoryKill runs entirely offline on your computer. It does not phone home. It does not send telemetry. It has no analytics, no crash reports, and no “anonymous usage statistics.” No data ever leaves your machine because of HistoryKill. The only network call it makes is to trustsoft.com/download/when you click “check for updates” — to fetch a new binary, not to send anything about you.

What this website collects

• Server access logs (Vercel) — your IP, browser, and the URLs you hit. Standard for any website. Used to debug and to detect abuse. Retained ~30 days.
• Email + name when you subscribe or look up your unlock code. Used to send your code, receipts, and product updates. Stored in Stripe (payment processor) and Resend (transactional email). Never shared with anyone else, never sold.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers. We see only the last 4 digits and the country.

We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or any third-party analytics. There is no tracking on this site.

Cookies

We don’t set tracking cookies. The only cookies that may appear are Stripe’s, on the checkout page, for fraud prevention. They expire when you close the tab.

Sub-processors

We use a small number of vendors to run the business. Each is bound by their own DPA / privacy practices:

• Vercel — hosts this website and the API.
• Stripe — processes payments, stores customer/subscription records.
• Resend — sends transactional email (receipts, unlock codes).

Your rights

Whether you’re in the EU, UK, California, or anywhere else: email support@trustsoft.com and we will, within 30 days:

• Show you exactly what data we have on you.
• Correct anything wrong.
• Delete it all (we’ll have to keep payment records for 7 years to satisfy tax law — that’s legal-compliance, not commercial use).
• Export your data in JSON.

Children

HistoryKillisn’t marketed to anyone under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.
